Out of the Darkness

We are all very excited as “Out of the Darkness” has been selected to be screened at the Riverside International Film Festival in California, USA in April 2011. The documentary has also been awarded the Jury Prize for Best Mountain Film at the Mountain Film Festival in Mammoth, California, USA but there will be no public screenings at this festival.  The Documentary Edge Film Festival, which will be hosting the World Premiere on February 26th, 2011 had added a second screening on the same day at 6:15 pm. You will find the schedule here. I’m also very happy that I will be accompanied by representatives of the NZ and Australian Fred Hollows Foundation, who are strongly involved in supporting Dr. Ruit’s work. They will be on stage with me at the screenings on Saturday 26th for the Q&A sessions following the two screenings.
